The Los Angeles quartet returned to the city for the first time since 2006 as part of their The E.N.D. With a thunderstorm warning, rain and lightning strikes Saturday afternoon, Bon Jovi's concert could have been slippery and wet. Concert organizers were living on prayers throughout the day and they were answered right before the show's 7 p.m. start time. April 21:
Tensions were high in Game 4 of the North Division Semi-Final between the Manitoba Moose and Hamilton Bulldogs, especially when the hard-fought battle headed into double overtime. But six minutes into the fifth period, Bulldogs defenseman P.K. North Division Semi-Final Game 3
April 19:
After losing games 1 and 2 in the North Division Semi-Final, the Manitoba Moose came back to MTS Centre and offered up a blow-out whooping for 7,546 fans as they faced the Bulldogs in game three of the 2010 playoff series. Manitoba took 24 shots on net and mustered 7 goals against Hamilton, while the Bulldogs took 36 shots on Cory Schneider but only hit the mesh twice. Matt Pope scored two goals, including the game-winner, and added an assist for his first-ever AHL three-point night. Matt Pettinger and Marco Rosa both notched singles while newcomers Yan Stastny and Peter Olvecky rounded out the scoring. International hockey returned to MTS Centre as the Swiss and Belarusian men's hockey teams took to the ice in a pre-Olympic Exhibition game on Tuesday, February 9th. The game was a quick and hard-hitting affair, as both teams looked to build some team chemistry in preparation for the Vancouver tournament. For the second time this season the Moose surrendered seven goals in a 7-2 loss to the Milwaukee Admirals in front of 6,893 fans at MTS Centre on Friday night. All of Manitoba’s offence came from the blueline as defencemen Travis Ramsey and Mathieu Schneider netted the pair of Moose goals.
